Many people struggle with the transition to a vegan diet and lifestyle. We follow a four step process to assist our clients and patients in making a lasting and life-long change to their diet and lifestyle.
Step one is getting clear on where you want to go and why. Knowing the destination is crucial to mapping the path to get there. And knowing why it’s important to you will help keep you on target when temptation strikes.
Step two is cleansing/detoxing and pushing reset with a juice fast, or more specifically an Optimum Fast. This method of fasting, perfected by Dr. Opare is a safe and effective way to prepare your body and mind for your new lifestyle.
Step three is really getting to know yourself, what triggers your cravings, where you struggle, and what you believe to be true about yourself and your situation. This is where the gold is and will give you the knowledge you need for step four.
Step four is creating a plan for your success. Now that you know what and where your struggles as well as what your strengths are, you can begin to craft strategies specifically designed to fit your situation and needs.

We regularly use each of these steps because this is a life-long journey. There are always growing edges. There are times of struggle. Today I’m focusing on step two, the Optimum Juice Fast.
Why should you do a fast when you want to make a diet or lifestyle change? There are four compelling reasons.
