When you have big goals for yourself, like the goal of taking responsibility for your health and wellbeing and committing to living a healthy lifestyle, it involves more than just changing how you eat or starting an exercise regime. You are a multifaceted being and all parts of you, mind, body, and spirit, need to be involved.
Whether you are a new vegan or you’ve been at this a while, if you leave any one piece out of the process you are much more likely to fall back to your previous unhealthy ways. You’ll have a harder time staying on the less traveled path of eating plant-based and turning your back on the unhealthy behaviors the current society tells us are normal and desirable.
That’s why I believe that a wholistic approach to lifestyle change is the way to success. It’s why I’ve created my 1-on-1 and group coaching programs based on the Four Pillars of success to guide you in creating a healthy lifestyle that fits your personal needs and adapts to your life and challenges. If this sounds like something that would help you click here to sign up for a free 60-minute mini session with me to find out what’s keeping you stuck and how help you stop struggling and start thriving as a vegan.
Today, in this video, I’m talking about the mind and spirit part of you. I share what I do to start my day off in a way that helps to keep me pointed in the direction of fulfilling my ori, my purpose. It’s what I do to make sure I’m not derailed and distracted by the things in the world that could cause me to feel like just giving up and eating a hamburger and crawling back into bed.
Now I’d like to hear from you. How do you start your day? What can/do you do to keep yourself inspired and committed to walking that less traveled path? Leave a comment below and share your story.
