The #1 Tool For Successfully Changing Your Diet

Number One Tool For Success

Making the transition to or maintaining your vegetarian or vegan lifestyle is often challenging for people. Some folks start and stop many times. Others stay vegetarian for a good length of time and then fall off. Some may worry they aren't eating the right things or attribute symptoms they are having to giving up animal products.

Does this sound familiar to you?

There are many forces out there that are trying to undermine your progress and confuse you. Advertisers and the food industry want to keep you addicted to their unhealthy food. Your meat-eating friends and family and the social gatherings you attend provide pressure and temptation to return to old unhealthy patterns of eating. New studies or health claims are reported or shared on social media that give conflicting or confusing information.

So often I see people who are looking for support to stay committed and help to make sense of the nutrition noise out there. That is what this site is all about.

Nana Kwaku and I have dedicated our work to providing education and support to help black folks get healthy and stay healthy by changing how they eat and adopting healthy lifestyles. We have seen the power that a vegan lifestyle has for transforming lives, improving health, deepening spiritual connection.

Here is our #1 tool for helping people successfully make the transition to and maintaining a vegan or vegetarian lifestyle.

As a medical doctor with a degree in nutrition Nana Kwaku has helped many people (including me) successfully make this transition to a vegan or even a raw vegan lifestyle. As an educator I have created programs that allow his teaching and knowledge to be available to as many people as possible. We recognize that people need support.

We created Healthy Eating Success to provide the support that can help you be successful in making the transition to a healthy diet and lifestyle. We've included videos we recorded over the past several years in classes we have held in our clinic so that you will have the nutrition information you need to be healthy. We also cover the practical side of being vegetarian, what to have in your pantry, how do deal with friends and family, the holidays etc. We included raw food preparation demonstrations. We included journal exercises and homework assignments to help you optimize your diet and understand your own personal trouble triggers and create a plan to stay on track.

This program is extensive, it includes 38 units with 26 videos, resource material and downloads you can use to put what you learn into action. There are 30 days of emails that include recipes and articles that complement the video content and help keep you moving forward. There is a forum section where you can ask your questions and share your stories. There are also recommendations for four books to read to deepen your learning.

Makeba, I am so happy to hear that. Nana Kwaku always says that “You have everything you need to be healthy in you right now.” Listening within is such an important part. Glad you are a part of the community!

It’s easy for me to be Vegan or Raw in the Spring and Summer but when Fall and Winter is where I kind of Backslide, I’m on information overload and your video came right on time because I am trying to get back on track. The video was helpful.

I am glad it helped. Many people have a harder time with raw in colder months. Time for more warming spices. I find a cup of tea can satisfy the desire for warm food too.
