  • 2 cups of raw nuts - Almonds, Cashews, Walnuts, Pecans etc.
  • 2 TBL Nama Shoyu (or Soy Sauce)
  • water to cover
  • 1-2 TBL Chili Powder
  • 1 Tsp salt
  • 1 Tsp Curry Powder
  • 1 Tsp Garlic or Onion Powder

Place nuts in a medium bowl. Add Nama Shoyu and water. Cover and soak for 4-8 hours or over night.

Drain nuts and rinse briefly.

Toss with the spices

For raw nuts, spread evenly on dehydrator tray and dehydrate for 24 hours or until very dry and crunchy.

Otherwise, spread evenly on baking sheet and place in oven at lowest setting until very dry and crunchy. May take several hours.

Store nuts in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
